As your collection of photos increases in size, you may find it hard to keep your photos organized. If that is the case, then you need to turn to software for help, and more to the point, you need to take advantage of the functionality Element Photo Gallery has to offer. This is a media organizer and editor that is quite easy to use. Using it, you can view your photos, edit them, and organize them in albums.

With little hassle and by spending a minimum amount of time, you can have Element Photo Gallery up and running on your machine. You need to download a 2.1MB archive, extract and run the executable inside, and follow the instructions presented by the Element Photo Gallery setup wizard. You can install Element Photo Gallery on 32 or 64-bit editions of Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and even Windows 8.

The blue-and-white interface presents the buttons for Element Photo Gallery’s main functions at the top. When you create albums (you can do that from the File menu, the New Album option), they will be displayed in the blue pane to the left. Once you import images to an album, they will be displayed in the white pane to the right. When you import a photo, you are asked if you want to delete or keep the original file.

Hit the Slide show button and your images will be presented as a slide show. You will see a black background, and in the forefront you will see your images; Element Photo Gallery will transition from one to another. Hit the left or right arrow keys to manually move from one image to another.

Element Photo Gallery has some editing capabilities as well: crop, remove red eyes, flip, rotate, adjust the colors, adjust the dimensions. Once you’re done editing your images, you can burn them, or you can share them with others – Flickr and Facebook are integrated into Element Photo Gallery.

I mentioned above that Element Photo Gallery is free. I would like to add that if you enjoy using this freeware digital media organizer, you should consider making a donation to support it.

With the free Element Photo Gallery application, you can easily manage your collection of photos, edit them, and share them with others.

Pros

Works with 32 and 64-bit Windows editions. Create albums, put whatever images you want in those albums. View and edit images. Print out, publish, email, burn, or share images via Flickr and Facebook. Element Photo Gallery is freeware.

Cons

Kept running into an “unhandled exception occurred in your application” error while using the application.
